The Trust was established to honor the legacy of Chaudhry Rahmat Ali, whose name is associated with dedication, values, and service. Inspired by these principles, the school continues to uphold a commitment to academic excellence, character-building, and social responsibility. Over time, the school expanded into three dedicated campuses — Preschool, Girls’ School, and Boys’ School — ensuring focused learning for every stage of a student’s journey. Today, Ch. Rahmat Ali Memorial Trust School stands as a symbol of discipline, knowledge, and holistic development, shaping young minds into responsible citizens and future leaders.
Professor Dr. S.M.K. Wasti (1912–1995), widely recognized as the Father of Paediatrics in Pakistan and recipient of the Tamgha-e-Pakistan, laid the foundation of the Chaudhry Rahmat Ali Memorial Trust in 1976. A distinguished scholar, Dr. Wasti held multiple prestigious qualifications including M.B.B.S. (Punjab), F.C.P.S., F.R.C.P. (Ireland), M.P.H. (London), D.C.H. (Ireland), and D.T.M. & H. (London). He served as Professor Emeritus of Paediatrics at King Edward Medical College, Lahore, and was a Founder Fellow and Professor Emeritus at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Karachi.
Through his vision, compassion, and dedication, the Trust has been actively serving communities in both healthcare and education for decades, carrying forward his legacy of service and excellence.
