Ch. Rahmat Ali Memorial Trust (CRAMT), Township, Lahore is charitable institution, established in 1976 under Trust Act 1882, to undertake health care services, school education and religious studies for the under-served and marginalized masses of the neighborhood.
It was established in the memory of Late Chaudhry Rahmat Ali; a Hero of Pakistan movement who suggested the name of “Pakistan”. It was established by Late Prof. Dr. S. M. K. Wasti along with a group of likeminded social entrepreneurs of the time. Prof. Dr. Wasti was a highly acclaimed Pediatrician of his times and was affectionally called as “Father of Pediatrics due to his dedicated efforts for the development and advancement of “mother, child & family healthcare”.
